SL600 Corrugated Pipe Line Commissioned in Central Asia for Gas Distribution Infrastructure
Project Context
A regional infrastructure authority launched a major initiative to expand gas distribution networks. The project required sourcing reliable, high-capacity corrugated HDPE pipe production to meet growing demand from municipal and industrial clients in the region.
A local pipe manufacturer identified the need for a dedicated production line capable of delivering 1,200+ linear meters of corrugated pipe per shift, maintaining consistent quality and durability in extreme temperature conditions.
Why the SL600
The operations team evaluated three production line suppliers, focusing on:

The Order
Contract signed in March 2024 for one SL600 unit with optional mill extension. Total investment: €185,000. The manufacturer committed to annual capacity of 100,000+ linear meters of corrugated pipe for municipal and industrial applications.
Delivery & Installation
Suba shipped the unit in July 2024. Installation took 3 weeks, with two Suba technicians on-site for machine setup and operator training. The local team completed a 2-week intensive certification course.
Results
The line has been in continuous operation since Q3 2024, producing 1,250 m/shift of 300–600mm corrugated HDPE pipe. Quality metrics:
