Date: October 16–23, 2019
Location: Messe Düsseldorf, Germany
In October 2019, Suba Machinery participated in the K Show in Dusseldorf, Germany — the largest international plastics and rubber trade fair in the world.
Suba Machinery showcased the SL-180 high-speed water-cooled double-wall corrugated pipe forming machine. Key features of this equipment include:
During the fair, many international customers expressed great interest in our equipment and its capabilities for their markets.
K Show happens every three years, which means every edition is a statement — not just about what is on the floor today, but about where the industry is heading. K 2019 was particularly significant for corrugated pipe extrusion: processing speeds were up, automation was deeper, and buyer expectations around energy efficiency had shifted measurably since K 2016.
Suba Machinery brought our latest SL series configurations to Düsseldorf, with updated die head geometry and the first public showing of the PCC remote control interface. The response from European and Middle Eastern buyers confirmed what our engineering team had built toward: processors want higher output without proportional increases in labor or floor space.
Five days of conversations with buyers across Germany, Poland, Romania, Turkey, and the Middle East gave us a clear picture of where investment was being directed. Infrastructure projects — particularly drainage and telecommunications conduit — were driving demand for larger diameter pipe capacity. Buyers were asking specifically about diameter range flexibility and changeover time between pipe specifications.
This feedback directly shaped the SL1000 and SL1200 configurations we subsequently developed and brought to market ahead of K 2022.
K Show participation is not a marketing exercise for us. It is where our European technical relationships are maintained and deepened. Buyers who met our engineers at K 2019 are the same buyers who purchase lines, refer colleagues, and provide the real-world feedback that informs our next development cycle.
